Sims 3 Bohemian Fruit And Nuts Free Download For Windows 10
- edited June 2018I have to agree with what has been said in your previous thread on this issue. I do not have patch 1.69, and have never had any problems with the Bohemian Fruit and Nuts set produce not showing up.3
- I have the set as well, on patch 1.67, and it works just fine for me.
Might also be worth asking, do you have mods that affect whats for sale in stores? Could be something there?1 - I have the game on 2 computers, one (this one) is a desktop that is patched up to 1.69 and has Origin on it.
The other is a laptop that doesn't have Origin and is not patched up to 1.69
The desktop has Origin on it because it also has Sims 4.
Today, I opened the game on the laptop, (that's not connected to Origin and is not patched up to 1.69) and the Bohemian Garden fruit was in the grocery store for my Sim to buy.
It's just happened on this desktop that IS patched to 1.69 and has Origin.
Also just learned all my downloads (store bought items) was wiped out too on the desktop game. - edited June 2018I have the bohemian garden set and I'm on 1.69 patch as well, my grocery store is selling the fruits and nust from the set just fine.
I read your other thread, I do believe it could have been the ccmerged file, in the past I used to have problems with the cake from Monte Vista being invisible (the single servings) didn't matter if I reinstalled the world so I used to install Nona's file on my overrides folder to fix it, right now I don't have it though, I need to check if my wedding cake works.0 - @faytheful On your desktop computer, does your store content still all show up in your launcher? Do you have much CC?
The reason I'm asking is because the first time I downloaded CC from TSR, less than a week later, when I opened my game on Friday the 13th, none of my store or custom content showed up in my game. But it was all in my launcher, and the worlds were all in the Installed Worlds folder. I had immediate issues with the CC I had downloaded, and had removed it from my game and returned to the save from before, but apparently, I had somehow gotten a virus that wiped the CC index file later, on Friday the 13th, so that nothing would show up in my game. I had to let the game generate a new folder (to eliminate any possible corruption), and reinstall everything. After it was all reinstalled, I only moved those files to it from the old folder that were dated before I had installed the CC.
I have an ad blocker, so I never saw any ads, much less clicked on any, so the virus must have come with the CC I downloaded. If you have any new CC, maybe you got a similar virus from it.0 - I have the bohemian garden set and I'm on 1.69 patch as well, my grocery store is selling the fruits and nust from the set just fine.

ok well I'm re installing everything in the launcher, I'll see if that works.
It may not if its a corrupt ccmerged file.
I would've had to re install everything if it was a corrupt ccmerged file anyway.
I really don't think it was though, I think either Origin updated (my other game Zuma received from Origin is not working either)
or the launcher just got fed up (too many things) - edited June 2018@faytheful On your desktop computer, does your store content still all show up in your launcher? Do you have much CC?

its possible, I did download some things like hair, curtains, roof trim from TSR
the store content is still showing up in the launcher, I am re installing it now & see what happens.
If it is a virus, it should happen again or the game won't function properly I'm thinking.
I should be finished with re installing everything in about 2 hours (32 pages of store bought content) and will post the results.
edit: just thought about something, the same downloads I have from TSR on this desktop game are the same
downloads I have on the laptop game. I just play this computer because its a faster machine.
I haven't had any problems like this with the laptop game. I played it for a few minutes today, it was laggy a little but all the items I played with in the game was there (this desktop said some things couldn't be loaded)
and the fruit from the Bohemian Garden set was for sale in the grocery store.
Not sure its cc content - I have the bohemian garden set and I'm on 1.69 patch as well, my grocery store is selling the fruits and nust from the set just fine.

I would try uninstalling and reinstalling origin. Origin may not have updated correctly. This wont effect your game - Isn't there also an issue with the store patches not being applied anymore, if you reinstall or make a fresh user folder. I read this affects store items. I've had to manually copy over store patches into a new user folder recently.
- edited June 2018don't know what it is, it has something to do with Origin though
Thank you EA for ruining a perfectly good game for me.
I tried to create a new folder, re installed everything, it didn't work.
I then tried to install the game by disc and it forced me to re install Origin on my computer
I had taken Origin off to install the game by disc because my game won't function now, but
the game will not install by disc without Origin.
To think of all the money I spent on this game, and how I spent money for Sims 4.
Sims 4 works though, but Sims 3 and another game I got from Origin (Zuma) does not work.
Just black screen.
Thank you so much EA for completely destroying a perfectly good experience and game.
Never buy another game from EA again.
edit : appalled we can't even install the game from disc on the computer without Origin being installed.
That wreaks.
That means even if a person buys the game on disc its worthless unless they install Origin.
Do they even let people know they will be forced to put Origin on their machine in order to play the game ?
If not its false advertising.
When you click install it asks you if you want Origin to make changes to your computer.
if you click yes Origin will install, if you don't click yes, you can't install the game. - @faytheful Unless you have the pre 2012 original sims disk, you have to have origin. They've got you by the horns if you don't. They used to have the pre over on Amazon and some other sites for sale. I was a lucky one that when hubby bought me the game it was with the original disk. A few months ago I wiped Sims 3 off my puter as well as origin and reinstalled it with all disks I have. I have all EP's and SP's disks. Didn't have any issues with the install and all my dlc from the store works fine. Good luck if you try to find it. Other option, buy when steam has sales, and just use the steam option. I think you are still tied to internet with it though.2

Though technically tied to the internet, you can play offline with Steam. I have the original 2009 Disc for Sims 3 and after I collect the rest of the discs (only missing a few) I'll do what you did, wipe Origin and reinstall. I'm on Steam now though and have been for two years, works wonderfully.3 - edited June 2018I never installed Origin on my new computer. I just used the disks to install Sims 3. It's the only game I have on the computer. I have the other Origin games on the laptop with Origin installed on it but I haven't turned it on for months. My Sims 3 is from 2009 as I pre-ordered it. I had to repurchase several disks as I'd originally got digital downloads of some of the expansion and stuff packs from Origin. I got the re-purchased disks from local computer game stores when they were selling them cheaply just prior to Sims 4 being released.
@Odonata68 I don't think you need to worry about those store patches. I also put them in manually when I make a new Sims 3 folder, but if I forget to do it my store content still seems to work.

- Just a note for anyone on Steam or considering a switch: You don't need to have Steam running while you play TS3. There are shortcuts to launch the game with or without the launcher. I'm on Windows 10, so my paths might be a bit different than the ones for 7 or 8, but there should be a way to do it on any version.
(C:) Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonThe Sims 3GameBin
Both TS3w.exe and the launcher file (launcherW? maybe? I'd have to check) should be in there, and both work without any participation from Steam, without my being online. - Origin ID
MichaelUKingdon - thanks everyone for your input.
I thought I had an origin game disc, but its not. Its a 2012 disc, but as soon as I find one I'm going to do the same
many of you are doing.
Although its a good alternative & thanks to those who brought it up, Steam will be my last choice, because
I already bought this game twice, once with downloads through Origin and twice by buying all the discs.
Don't feel like going for a 3rd time unless no other choice.
